Oratiom is a presentation sharing and analytics platform that helps professionals share, track, and optimize their presentations. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service. By using Oratiom, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your name, email address, and organization. We store the presentation content you upload to our platform. When viewers access shared presentations, we collect analytics data such as email address (if gated), slides viewed, time spent per slide, and basic device information. We also collect standard usage data like IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited within our application.
We use your information to provide and operate the Oratiom service, including hosting your presentations and delivering viewer analytics to presenters. We send notifications about viewer activity and account updates. We use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve our product and develop new features.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only with infrastructure providers necessary to host and operate the service, and with our payment processor to handle billing. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
When a viewer opens a shared presentation, we collect the following: email address (if the presenter has enabled email gating), which slides were viewed and for how long, total time spent on the presentation, and basic device and browser information. This data is made available to the presenter who shared the link. Viewers are informed when email gating is active before they provide their email.
All data is stored and processed on EU-based infrastructure. We encrypt data at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. We conduct regular security audits and follow industry best practices to protect your information.
We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. When you delete your account, we remove all associated personal data and presentation content within 30 days. You may request deletion of specific data at any time by contacting us.
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, request rectification of inaccurate data, request erasure of your data, export your data in a portable format, and object to certain types of processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
